I have never attended a political rally/protest/walk….anything. This was my first and as someone that works in education, I felt it was absolutely necessary that I walk with the cause. As an educator, schools should be for learning and students should not have to fear that their classes will be interrupted by gun shots. Pictures are worth way more than anything I could ever have to say about this topic, but I felt blessed to be able to walk the streets of DC with so many other passionate individuals fighting for a change. Here is to generation after generation fighting to make a difference in our country.
