Greece: Paros in Pictures

Paros, Greece has become one of my favorite places in the world because of how peaceful it is. Paros is a place where writers, dreamers, thinkers, and readers dream of finding on this earth, and this is exactly what I did on this island. I spent the mornings reading on the beach and the evenings writing with a glass of Greek wine accompanying me. Luckily, I was on the islands in early September so the streets were quiet and the shops were filled with only locals. I recommend heading to the islands at the beginning of September to enjoy the lack of tourists. Words are hard to find to describe this island, so instead…I present to you Paros in pictures.

One of my favorite views from the Island. Casually walking through the streets and coming upon this was breathtaking.

Fresh squid drying in the sun lined the ports of the island.

Heaven.

During an afternoon walk I spotted this fisherman beating this squid senseless. Why? I have no idea…any fisherman out there that can explain?

Heaven 2.

Every street was filled with white walls, blue awnings, and fresh flowers climbing the walls. It was beautiful to get lost in the center.

After a morning out on the open sea, these fisherman are repairing their nets by hand. Amazing!

Found a church built into the rocks, located next to the sea. Beautiful.

Fresh fish and squid drying on a local fisherman’s boat.

Beautiful, quiet, and surprisingly secluded beach of Paros.

Boats of Paros.

My thoughts exactly.

Cruisin’ the streets of Paros. Only way to do it is on a moped!

The sea is me and I am the sea.

Breathtaking churches scatter the island.

Sunsets of Paros

Amazing sunset view from a rooftop bar in Paros.

One of my favorite views on this island…the sea literally touches the buildings here! ❤ ❤ ❤

Cat basking in the sun- so many roam the island.

Beautiful streets of Paros.

Amazing views on all sides of the islands. This church is a small walk away from the beach.

Local kids hanging out near the port.

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ The ocean waves make me so happy ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

There’s nothing like seeing the fish dry in the sun during the day, then sitting here and tasting it!

Look at those waves!

Happy travels!
